Rebeccah Jansson of Patchogue, NY has
received the Donald Brooks Award for Outstanding Leadership and Community Service. This award was for the entire state of New York. She received this award in part for her mission to help the street orphans of Romania. Rebeccah spearheaded a Backpack Carepak drive to collect new and nearly new supplies for homeless orphans. These supplies will soon be transported to Romania with the help of one of our sister charities, Heart of Romania Children Foundation.
The award was presented to Rebeccah at the NYS Conference for Skills USA which was attended by nearly 2000 young people and advisors. Congratulations and thanks go to Rebeccah for making a DIFFERENCE and being an INSPIRATION to others.
